Drones
Lately, we were introduced to parrot drones and how to pilot them. We used them inside and did some basic programs using Tynker and Parrot Activities. We first started off with the Parrot drones and did some simple drag and drop coding. This programmed the drone to do a simple function, such as turning left 90 degrees, moving forward, and even doing flips! We also experimented with the camera and took multiple shots while it was in the air. Even though the quality was not the best, it was still pretty cool to see the view of the drone. As we got more experience with the drones, we used the MavicPro drone with the FreeFlight Mini app, which was connected to the controller of the drone. It has a 1080p camera display and the shots were really clear. I learned a lot of cool things about the drones and I hope to learn more and use them for multiple purposes in the Help Desk.
